otter apprecitation page!!!

i absolutely LOVE river otters! my favourite species is the Asian short-clawed river otter, theyre so fricken adorable!!! i dont know if youve ever heard an otter but they sound like squeaky toys and its absolutely the cutest thing ever. theyre so silly and i relate to them so much, theyre my spirit animal and hence my fursona, and i wish i was one and i wish i could have some as pets they are the most absolutely adorable thing in the whole wide world

Fun facts!

they have at least 12 different vocalisations, ranging from sqeaks to chirps to cries
they chew their paws to stimulate themselves
they love tickles! ^^
they love to cuddle each other (they're especially squeaky when they do so, i can confirm), and sometimes lie on top of each other in a bit of a sandwich formation to scent each other
they like to swim just for fun
they like to slide on their bellies down riverbanks and in snow
